Name: James Sirius Potter
Age: 17
Year: 7th
House: Gryffindor
Gender: Male
Blood: Half-blood
Family:
Father: Harry Potter
Mother: Ginny Potter
Siblings: Lily Potter (sister), Albus Potter (brother)
Uncles: Bill, Charlie, Percy, George and Ron Weasley
Aunts: Fleur, Penelope, Aurora, Katie and Hermione Weasley
Cousins: Victoire, Fabian, Sienna, Ariana, Andrew, Fred, Rose and Hugo Weasley
And Teddy Lupin (Adopted brother)
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Appearance: [Eight or more sentences]
James didn't really inherent his father's appearance, or his mother's for that matter. He wears his longish dark hair down to his neck (unless he's just had a haircut in which case it will be shorter) and it isn't too untidy, as it can usually be described as "casually elegant". He is not that tall, only 5'11" or so and he is not that heavy: only about 135 pounds. However he is athletic, not weak. His eyes are the most interesting part of his appearance; they are bright, nearly electric blue and he has learned to use this to his advantage, being able to fix people with what he thinks is a "piercing gaze".
Celeb Claim: Elijah Wood
Personality: [Eight or more sentences]
James is happiest in spotlight; the center of attention. That's right, he's a major ham. Anything to get attention, within reason, is alright with him. He doesn't quite qualify as a spoiled brat, but he's not a mild-mannered gentleman either. He also enjoys making dramatic entrances, eves-dropping, and generally havoc-reeking. Somewhat of a teenage rebel, he tends to like to cause a little trouble. However, he does have another side and he believes in respect, well, his definition of respect. He likes people to respect him, but if you can gain his respect, then you've got to be pretty dang special.
In terms of romance, he has the potential to be both an Edward Cullen and a total and complete git. He has never really had a serious relationship with a girl, apart from going to various dances and flirting with a few.
He has inherited his mother's fiery temper and her resolute determination flows through his veins. He knows when to be serious and stop acting like a clown...sometimes. He can be a dangerous fighter in a duel and he especially gifted with levitation charms and spells involving people flying over his head. When he stops acting like an idiot, he is loyal, brave, and altogether way too reckless. When Harry wished Sirius alive back in his fifth year, he never suspected he might return in the form of his son...

History:
James Sirius Potter lives up to all three of his names, the second one in particular and has been doing so since the age of two. It was at that age when the boy first started to show his "talents". He could throw a rock clear out of a window across the room, resulting in a loud crash. When siblings came along he learned how to hold them above boiling cauldrons left unattended and how to steal his mother's broomstick from right under her nose. If he had to take after anyone in the family, it would have to be George Weasley , except he wasn't most like the fabled prankster. Long ago, back in his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter had wished Sirius Black alive again--or at least in ghost form. He had long ago given up that hope, but he never expected for his Godfather to return, in the form of his son.
As stated above, James Potter was a naughty, but talented child, terrorizing his siblings for his own entertainment, stealing valuable objects and driving his parents insane in general. As grew older, he began to show magic and a thirst for showing off, but he did possess at least one major trait which Sirius Black had not: common sense. James had the ability to know when something was stupid. Unfortunately, even though he would know, he would most likely follow through on his foolish action. He had his mother's "hard blazing look" and rock-solid determination, his grandfather's nerve and his aunt's intelligent and thirst for knowledge. The only trait which he inherited from his father was his quick-thinking in a crisis. Throughout his life he exhibited these, adding to that a love of horses and horsemanship (he turned down the hippogriff in favor of a horse) an, not surprisingly, Quidditch. He also developed an odd liking for muggle weaponry, anything remotely medieval and anything which emitted a loud "boom". As expected, he was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry a few months shy of his twelfth birthday. He went to school and proceeded to do his best to draw the spotlight onto him.
