Post by Mira Zhang on Sept 9, 2008 1:22:43 GMT -5
Name: Mira Zhang, Pronounced Me-Raw, not My-Rah Sometimes spelled Mi-Ra
Age: 16
Year: 6Th
House: Ravenclaw
Gender: Female
Blood: Pure blood
Family:
Zhang "Chang" Xue-Feng [mother]
Zhang Huo-Lang [father-deceased]
Zhang Lui-Quan [older brother]
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Appearance: Mira has ashy black hair that is blended in with light auburn and red locks. Her eyes are a glimmering color of dark brown opal that stands out from her pale, not pasty, white complexion. Her lips are unusually pale pink and there is not rosy doll like color to kiss her cheeks. When she walks, she glides with the help of her long slender legs. Towering about 5'7, she is relatively tall for a Asian. Her Hair reaches to about her mid back, the side bangs that frame her face ends just a inch below her chin. The bangs it self is blow dry into a curve cut. Her eyes brows are perfectly plucked thin and her body is neither busty or masculine. She wears a c-cup and actually has almost no butt that curves out.
Some would describe her as tall and slender, fragile but fierce because of her burning opal eyes. Her finger nails are cut, not long like they would be to match her demented beauty appearance.
Celeb Claim: Jolin Tsai??
Personality: Her expression where neither friendly nor pretty but seductive and haughty. The opal eyed girl was almost brigand as a witch, a witch of all witches...like the enchantress in the fictional muggle stories adults throw to scare little child who don't know any better. In those stories, if any can remember, they are deemed, evil and always plotting, like devilish masterminds.
When she talks, she either answers a question from a professor or shoots back a sneering comment from someone who is talking about her behind her back. She personally doesn't like naive people which she finds a load of them in Hufflepuff.
Most think she is flaunting that she is pretty, which most admit was true, and that she was seemingly very ethnic-Central. Most think because there were few Asians in Hogwarts that she deemed herself special and that is why she wouldn't talk to any of them. Rather then talking to the students to stop the rumor, she just lets devilish rumor and mischievous gossip ride among the ears and jump into conversations in whispers. In her mind, she didn't need them, she was here for the education, not to bond. She has seen it many times, couples breaking, the tears, the backstabbing, heck she even wrote a novel about a girl going through trauma of high school and college though Mira would probably never let anyone see her work.

History: Mira Zhang is the daughter of two heirs of old magic families as well as the younger sister of a renowned fashion designer in Asia. Her family was influential in the muggle realm as exquisite artists. Her mother was a gu-qin professions and her father was the head of a flower arrangement and traditional Chinese influenced tea ceremonies. In the magical world, they were renowned painters. They had polished a old skill known as Ink breathing. They would paint a picture and somehow breath life into the art which would then rise from the paper and was like a golem but a fragile golem it was. Because of it's fragility, most people would not buy or request it so they were not as famed as the Malfoys or the Potters. They were considered the backwash of the Pure Blood Society and ignored. Though they lived a grand life, they hardly kept in touch with the magical world other then to hear threatening news.
Mira had some traumatic incidents but none of them really affected her well being at all. She was sharp tongued and often ignored all those around her. Her family was her first priority above all else other then school work.
Due to one incident involved her brother, a grudge and some metal pike fences, her father, the headmaster and founder of his school died a tragic and abhorred accident. Technically it wasn't a accident but that's what they all told the police and the neighbors as well as the Media. Her mother had to give up her profession as a gu qinist and took over Shuusui, the school of which it was named. After the incident, both her and her brother were admitted into a hospital, after he fully recovered, he left after the funeral to SuiMei, a fashion school in Beijing where he dedicated his latest line of clothing for his sister in her English name, "Marigold".
Her Hogwarts years...were not so her best of years. During her first year, she was noticed by many but because of her negative...vibe? Her aura greatly affected those around her. They thought she was either mean, or weird. Weird...being weird in the magical world..that's something hardly to believe. She was a enigma to their eyes. The the next two years, she was only known by her her grade point average. Some people, those who try to be nice and friendly tried to be friend her. She shunned them as the rest of the school ignores them. The ravenclaw house, she would assume, thinks she is a burden and asked themselves if not the sorting hat why she wasn't in Slytherin. Sometimes she too ask herself that.
During her 4Th year, she took a interest in quidditch, the soccer on brooms. Taking position as a chaser, she found out she had a knack for flying in the air. Though she was a enigma, the house team allowed her to be on, seeing she had some talent and was willing to talk and cooperate with the team's practice and meeting schedules.
Her fifth year, Mira had nearly reached the top three of the finals for the school. Sadly she had a bad week and only was able to get towards a 5Th place ranking. She promised before leaving the grounds of the school she would get higher, climbing significantly. She didn't attend any school activities other then quidditch so she was free to do what she wished.
Her sixth year however, barley started will be different. Her mother and brother somehow found out that she was a enigma at school for the last five years and yearned her to create a social life. Her mother had been contacted for some reason by the Head of the school to discuss with such a issue. Apparently one of the teachers brought up the fact that she always refused to accept a partner in projects even though it was strictly required. She would have either done the project entirely by herself or allowed her and her partner to fail completely on the assignment. They also were informed of all the brazen rumors and gossip that surrounded the daughter, eradicating her from the rest of the other students that were partially caused by the project problem. Why would they stand for it knowing that she was smart, they assume, she would rub it in their face because she was so smart. Seeing that her mother was worried, she explained that she probably unconsciously caused these rumors. They were just kids, they were barley maturing while she has already fully matured and immune to all these kinds of gossip and rumors. Her mother stated boring her eyes into Mira's while saying that Mira has not even began to first stage of mature, puzzling her.
